A good contemporary rug should probably cost $10 to 15,000, unless it is a normal rug in which case $5,000 should do it, I must say that I am not quite sure.

An area rug for a single female client is very different from that for a family with 5 kids 2 dogs and a cat. I always seek out area rugs that are durable and beautiful. Durability and cleanability are two factors that are always important to me.

Carpets can be art and should be purchased with one‘s budget in mind and the time line for that particular space.

A good modern 10x8 rug should cost you between $7,000 to $10,000 depending on the silk or wool content. A fine antique rug of that size however can cost in excess of $50,000.
